This year’s annual Eko-Konnect Users Conference, themed: “Empowering Research and Education Ecosystem with Digital and Open Infrastructure”, will focus on utilising digital infrastructure and open platforms to improve Scholarly Communications and Open Science practice in collaboration with the following partners.

LIBSENSE workshops on national collaborations on Research Data Management governance and Open Access Books are co-located with the Users Conference on days 2 and 3.
This Conference brings together practitioners in the research and education community including Senior Management, Policymakers, Directors of ICT, Librarians, researchers and service providers from the Nigerian and West African regions.
The event will highlight some of the infrastructure and community engagement required to deliver an increasingly viable and visible research ecosystem in Nigeria. Eko-Konnect’s partnership with DataCite to provide DOI services will be officially announced.
The conference will also allow users to familiarise themselves with the new Board of Trustees of Eko-Konnect.
