On September 8th, the AfricaConnect3 partners will hold a one-hour info-share aimed at African NRENs CEOs or their representatives in charge of completing the project’s yearly updated country fiche.
Every year, RRENs work with their respective member NRENs in elaborating country fiches in the form of a country profile that provides background on the NREN membership and the key research and education institutions they connect. The fiches also capture information about the set-up, connectivity, service offering, market challenges etc of NRENs in the respective clusters with the purpose of getting a more comprehensive overview of the NREN landscape in each region. While contributing to enhance NRENs’ visibility, this tool has been supporting communications and advocacy activities.
In this interactive info-share, the AfricaConnect3 partners will expatiate on the importance of the country fiche, its potential benefits to NRENs, and also show how NRENs can complete it. There will also be a question and answer (Q&A) session.
