UbuntuNet Alliance is implementing the AfricaConnect3 project co-funded by the European Union and the beneficiary NRENs. The AfricaConnect3 project seeks to unlock the potential of education and research through increased access to digital infrastructures and technologies for African education and research institutions. As part of this project, UbuntuNet Alliance invites proposals from member NRENs to request support for staff exchanges between them. The staff exchanges shall enable NRENs to learn from each other and share experiences.
In 2023, the Alliance has funds to support 4 staff exchanges. Each exchange can be up to one week. Sponsorship includes round-trip economy air ticket and daily per diem to meet accommodation, meals and out of pocket expenses
Proposals must be accompanied by support letters from sending and receiving NREN CEOs. Proposals should be submitted as a single pdf file via email to eliakim.okundi@ubuntunet.net
