In line with the Covid-19 safety regulations, UbuntuNet Alliance will hold its 14th Annual General Meeting virtually on 16th November 2020.
The meeting was scheduled to be held in Kigali, Rwanda and hosted by the Rwanda Education and Research Network (RwEdNet) in April this year but was postponed due to Covid-19.
UbuntuNet Alliance is now pleased to announce that the Annual General Meeting will now be conducted online to give NREN members a chance to deliberation outstanding issues.
Amongst the items on the Agenda is the adoption of an updated constitution of the Alliance which will replace the current version which was adopted in 2013.
The Annual General Meeting of Members, is the top decision-making body that must sustain the Members’ collective will to collaborate regionally. It is composed of Representative Members from Member NRENs and Observer Members from NRENs in Construction – only Representative Members have a voting right.
The 13th Annual General Meeting of Members was held in Entebbe, Kampala in April 2019.
